Wednesday Woo - Easter Delights

Easter brings us a very welcome long spring weekend with friends and family.  It's a time to gather and celebrate the new season - a celebration that involves fun, food and outdoor play, along with gifts and goodies that express the arrival of spring.

Love Mae Wall stickers, Belle & Boo dresses, Maileg Rabbits, Maileg Easter Collection
These lovely Easter Egg Tins by Maileg can be filled with all sorts of yummy treats for Easter Egg hunts.  Chocolate indulgence is inevitable but the Easter Egg Tins can also be used to hide little messages, buttons, hair clips or marbles for older ones. Belle & Boo badges would be a lovely surprise hidden inside too.

Maileg Easter Egg Tins for filling and hiding £5.50 each
Maileg Easter Egg Tins for filling and hanging £3.10 each

Belle & Boo badges £2.00 each

These Goodie Tins by Maileg have a really pretty floral pattern and Easter Bunny design. This is a lovely present to arrive with at Grannys house - filled with some home-made biscuits or flapjacks.  A gift to last beyond Easter - though I'm sure the home-made delights will disappear in a day!

Part of the ritual I enjoy in decorating for Easter is putting the darker wintry coloured fabrics away and re-discovering all the fresh linens that signal the new season. We shall be writing about spring decor soon and  there are some monday makery ideas here for bringing the spring inside with some blossom and bunting crafts.  Simply hanging a fabric decoration denotes a welcome to spring and all its'new life.  These Maileg chicks are very fresh and chirpy:

Our favourite rabbit Boo adorned on a canvas tote bag is a perfect way to carry around an emblem of spring. Fill it with flowers and treats for someone you adore:

Enjoy all the fresh new spring delights...and goodies too!
